Village Northwest Unlimited Celebrates Their 1000th Donation

Sheldon, IA- Village Northwest Unlimited celebrated their 1000^th donation of blood to Community Blood Bank on Wednesday, August 5^th.  There were 36 people attending the blood drive and special occasion. With the donation of the 1000^th unit of blood, Village NW Unlimited has helped save up to 3000 patients’ lives throughout the years.

 

“We gratefully thank Carol Burteyn, all the staff and friends of Village NW Unlimited for all the years of support and help for local blood supply and Community Blood Bank,” says Ken Versteeg, Executive Director, Community Blood Bank.  “It is with this generous help that we can assure blood is available for patients at all times.”
