A Special Valentine: Sioux Falls Residents Give the Gift of Life

 

Sioux Falls, SD- Cadillac of Sioux Falls will host a special Valentine Blood Drive at its dealership at 4410 West 12^th Street on Friday, February 12^th from 8am-1pm.  The public will have an opportunity to donate blood for local patients with the Community Blood Bank.

 

Every three seconds someone needs blood, and the only way to ensure that those needs are met is to rely on volunteer donors to donate blood. The need for local blood donors is immense.  The Community Blood Bank supplies over 550 units of blood each week to people in the Sioux Falls region.  Among those who benefit from donated blood are trauma and burn victims, cancer patients and persons undergoing surgery.  

 

The first 24 donors that sign up will receive a rose and a special thank you gift.  Cadillac of Sioux Falls is offering $9.99 oil changes to all who donate and special refreshments. 

 

Donor must be at least 17 year old, weigh 110 lbs or more and be in good general health the day of the donation.  Please bring an I.D.  It is recommended that a person eat and drink plenty of fluid prior to donating.
